Needless to say, my understanding has been greatly enriched over that period of time and now, in looking back at my copy of this book, I can see even more clearly just how magnificent a commentary it truly is. Surely one of the Spectacular explication of the Phenomenology.

Surely one of the best commentaries on Hegel there is. As opposed to a lot of the other commentaries on the Phenomenology, this one incorporates Hyppolite’s understanding of the Logic into its explication of the text.
